Scouters get to take part in a wide variety of fantastic adventures. Community involvement, crafts, hiking, cooking, camping trips, skills development, scouters' socials, day trips and awesome overnight trips are happening all year around!
Check out these pictures to get a sense of where Scouters go and what they do
In addition to the adventures that volunteers get to enjoy there is an even more awesome reason to join the team: You get to hear kids say things like "Today was the best day of the year!", "This was the most fun I've had all week", "My favourite part of the week is to come to our meetings!", "This was the best weekend of my life!".
It's incredibly rewarding knowing that you make a difference in the lives of young people as they tackle challenges, learn new skills, make new friends and grow into capable young adults.
There are volunteer roles to fit different interests and availability. Some roles involve regular weekly participation, while others can be done occasionally or behind the scenes.

Questions: Contact Zoltan at zoltanwagner@gmail.com or speak with a scouter at one of the events.
All scouters are reimbursed for expenses as they get started (uniform, police check, etc.) and for ongoing expenses related to planning and running Scouting events.
You won't be thrown in on your own. New volunteers receive training and work alongside experienced Scouters. You'll have people to ask questions, learn from and work with as you get started.
Use this registration checklist to guide you through each step.
If you wish to help out at meetings or overnight camps but not quite ready to join as a volunteer on a regular basis you can become a parent helper.
